At Raahe Business College you can achieve a Vocational Qualification in Business and Administration or Business Information Technology. Vocational studies aim at training professionals with practical skills. The qualification is appropriate for persons, who are able to study in Finnish. The applicant should have a basic command of Finnish in order to be able to work and study in Finland. The qualification requirements consist of theoretical and practical studies and on-the-job-learning. Students with elementary education are able to complete their studies in three years and undergraduates and students with secondary education in two years.  The qualification prepares the students directly for working life. Vocational qualification enables post-graduate studies at polytechnics and universities. Close co-operation with working life opens possibilities for the students to enter working life already during studies. The graduates usually work in sales, customer service, IT-support and marketing communication tasks in various fields of business and public sector.

International activities

Raahe Business College trains students to become international. Every year international projects offer our students possibilities to get to know interesting European cultures, schools and working life through visits to our partners abroad.  Our student groups have visited eg. Spain, Austria, Greece, Portugal, Turkey and Sweden. Internationality is a part of the everyday life of our school. Visits of international students as well as studying and communicating in a multicultural environment brings the world closer to our students. By granting scholarships, our school encourages and supports students to study languages and do their job training abroad.

Applying for training takes place through national joint application system. Joint application takes place twice a year – during spring and autumn.
